These are the Five Practices of vital, fruitful congregations. These ideas aren’t secret or new, but they are the practices that can lead to excellence and growth in the life of local congregations. And they are the practices we are focusing on for five consecutive weeks, beginning Sunday,October 5 and ending Sunday, November 2.

Click below to read and/or listen to each week's message:

Sunday, October 5: Radical Hospitality
Sunday, October 12: Passionate Worship
Sunday, October 19: Intentional Faith Development
Sunday, October 26: Risk-Taking Mission and Service
Sunday, November 2: Extravagant Generosity

In addition to joining us on Sundays for teaching and worship experiences focusing on these five practices, we encourage you to participate in this special series in the following ways:

5p_devotionalbook.jpg At-home devotional readings
We are providing each household in the congregation with a copy of the daily devotional book Cultivating Fruitfulness, written by Robert Schnase in reflection upon the book The Five Practices of Fruitful Congregations.

There is a devotional reading for every  day of this series featuring a passage of Scripture, a reflection, and guidance for prayer related to the week's theme. We encourage you to pick up your copy of the book in worship in the preceeding weeks, and begin reading the devotions on Monday, September 29.
