When: January 28th at 10:30am

Where: SOL Queen Creek Campus Sanctuary

On Jan. 28th those who are ushers, greeters, or wish to become ushers or greeters should attend a training workshop. It is important for ushers to attend these trainings twice a year so we can maintain the friendly, hospitable, generous nature SoL is famous for. We will walk through our procedures and remind ourselves of our different tasks that we are responsible for on Sunday mornings. It should last no more than an hour and should be a fun time for us to talk about how we are in service to our church. We will be having Sunday brunches every other week, starting Jan. 22nd, at the Barro's Pizza just down from the Copper Basin YMCA.
We will meet after the service ends and this will be a causal time for the community to get together. This time can be used to ask questions about the sermon, get to know the pastor and fellow worshipers, or have general discussion. It is also a time for us to be in the community where friends and neighbors might feel more comfortable joining us.

The experience of the service is designed to help modern people experience the presence and activity of God in our world, through traditions of the Christian church that go back to our founding.

We teach children to Love God, Love Each Other, and to Serve the World.

Our aim is to help inspire and equip disciples of Jesus Christ who "love God, love one another, and serve the world."

We seek to create a safe and inspiring place where people can encounter God, grow spiritually, be empowered by the Holy Spirit, and minister to others. Spiritual growth and discipleship are at the core of all that we do.
